Posthumous albums: disrespecting or honouring?

The recent release of Mac Miller’s posthumous album, Circles, sparked a conversation if releasing music posthumously is honouring or disrespecting the legacy of the artist. Is it exploiting the artist’s work since they are not here anymore to give out consent?
