19-year-old Malaysian singer Layla Sania made her debut with the release of her Malay single Que Sera Sera back in 2019. She is the second Malaysian after pop idol Yuna to make it on the Times Square Billboard - Layla will be representing Singapore and Malaysia for Spotify’s EQUAL Singapore & Malaysia program that focuses on women participation - she joins us on the show, sharing her reaction to the news she received, talking through about the music industry and the meaning behind her latest release ‘By Your Side’.
