Have you ever stopped to marvel at the elaborately colourful patterns drawn on the floors of shopping malls during Deepavali season? This week we find out about this wonderful art form with Ruben Prakash, Kolam artist extraordinaire. We explore the ins and outs of the artistic practice, including the mathematical calculations that go into the execution of a Kolam.
