91 year old Dr Lim Boo Liat is regarded as a pioneer in the field of zoology in Malaysia. Since 1953, he has written 302 scientific researches on various fields in zoology - papers on small animals, reptiles and amphibian ecology among others. As a result, he has several animals named after him - which is quite a feat.
