As Harimau Malaya concludes their bittersweet campaign in Dubai, talks about player naturalization still remains a feisty topic. One of Malaysia’s greatest players, Datuk Santokh Singh recently spoke out against naturalised players, commenting on their under-par performance on the field. However, at the same time - we've seen how China, Qatar & countries in Europe have enforced it to great success. Is player naturalization a quick solution to fill the gaps, or is it a band-aid to an underlying grassroots issue?
