Esports has been recently approved as a medaled sport for the upcoming Asian Games 2022 in China. This is following years of struggle to find legitimacy at major sporting events. But is this a one-off initiative or a road-test for the Olympics? On the line with us this week, Richard Wee who is a sports lawyer, a member of the Malaysian Bar, and an advocate for Malaysian esports as he breaks down this move by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
