In 2023, baby boomers will be celebrating birthdays between the ages of 59 and 77. And by 2030, one in six people in the world will be aged 60 years or over. Malaysia is of course no exception to this global trend with the World Bank we’ll have 20% of the population to be aged by 2056, giving us the status of a “super-aged nation”.
So what happens to us when we grow old in a country that is experiencing an ageing crisis? What impact does it have on our wallet and cost of living? Rajen Devadason of RD WealthCreation talks to us about how we can ride this global silver tsunami.
