Muhyiddin Appoints New Attorney-General

The first appointment of the new government is Tan Sri Idrus Harun, former Solicitor-General and Federal Court Judge, who will now serve as the country's new Attorney-General for two years. For more insight, we speak to Datuk Malik Imtiaz Sarwar, Constitutional Lawyer, about the role of the AG, issues which might arise between the AG and his brother, Election Commission Chairman Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun, and Datuk Seri Najib Razak's comments that he may now receive a 'fair trial'.
