Opening The Doors For Our Local Workers

The government will discontinue the hiring of foreign workers beginning this year until 2021 for service sub-sectors.This proposal was put forward by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs and was agreed upon by the joint committee of the Home Ministry as well as Human Resources Ministry on foreign worker management. We speak to Dr. Mohd Yusof Saari, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Economics and Management at Universiti Putra Malaysia to get some insights on this matter.
