Chandran Nair, CEO, Global Institute for Tomorrow (GIFT)

19-Sep-19 07:30

While the protests continue in Hong Kong, life goes on as usual for many individuals and businesses despite the dire narrative given by the global press. What is clear is that the protests surface Hong Kong's deep inequality which China needs to address. We speak to Chandran Nair, CEO of the Global Institute for Tomorrow (GIFT) and a resident in Hong Kong, on the local sentiments fuelling the protests and whether an end is to be seen.
