World leaders have convened in Beijing to mark the 10th anniversary of the belt and road initiative. And some noteworthy attendees include Russian President Vladimir Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the sole head of state or government from the European Union. Angeline Tan, Researcher in the Foreign Policy and Security Studies Programme, ISIS Malaysia shares with us BRI’s journey so far, what does the future hold and whether Malaysia will see increased participation.
