Given that the ringgit is still persistently weak after the US elections more than a month ago, we explore if UOB is re-looking at exporters as an investment theme.

In particular, we discuss which sub-sectors and companies the research house favours, and the impact of Bank Negara's recent ruling (of requiring exporters to convert at least 75% of their proceeds in ringgit) on the sector.
