Michael A Yoshikami, founder and CEO of Destination Wealth Management in San Francisco, talks about the upcoming budge to be announced by US President Barack Obama this week. He says that the main issue will be the proposed budget cuts, which he says will face some headwinds. He also talks about:

- The upcoming earnings season, where he says that investors should look to stocks that also double as economic indicators;

- Issues with China continue to brew, with the issues in North Korea and property prices taking the spotlight;

- He also expects the Japanese yen to reach US 100 and talks about the growing interest in the Japanese stock market.
