This is China's first time hosting the expo, and it's the largest the world has ever seen. Tens of billions of dollars have been spent on the event and on infrastructure. More than 70-100 million visitors are expected.
James Miles, China correspondent for the Economist spoke. Having visited the Expo himself, he talked about the Expo thus far, the organisers' difficulties and the Shanghai dream.
