Orang Asli - Vulnerable, Invisible?

The story of a 10-year old Orang Asli girl who was kicked, slapped and tied up by her teachers for allegedly stealing RM1 went viral last week. Today, we explore why there are so many cases of abuse of students in indigenous communities, why few get the attention of the media and why those involved are rarely brought to book.

This is a report by Heng Wei Ann and Daniel Subramaniam
