Work-life balance has always - and is increasingly - seen as an elusive thing. But Severance, a series on Apple TV+, posits something entirely different, focusing on a team of office workers who have had memories surgically divided between their work and personal lives, though one worker, Mark (played by Adam Scott), uncovers a larger conspiracy that complicates matters.
