Popcorn Culture - Review: Army Of Thieves

We may not have asked for an 'Army of the Dead-verse', but Zack Snyder decided to give it to us anyway. In this genre-switching prequel to Netflix's zombie smash hit, safe-breaker Ludwig Dieter is recruited to rob impossible-to-crack safes across Europe. Directed by and starring Matthias Schweighöfer, the film is a heist rom-com that acts as a prequel, spinoff, and expansion to Snyder's growing zombie-verse.
