Zafrul and Zuraida: A Tale of Two Parties

In a roundup of political movements and party affiliations, we discuss Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Aziz’s Umno membership, and calls for him to come clean on how long he’s been a member. Then, we look at the implications of Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin quitting Bersatu to join Parti Bangsa Malaysia. Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin announced she will be quitting BERSATU to join Parti Bangsa Malaysia. This comes after Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul was revealed to be a long-time UMNO member. We discuss the recent developments surrounding Tengku Zafrul as well as his performance and popularity. Next, we analyse Zuraida Kamaruddin's move and what it means for her to join PBM.
