Women & Girls in STEM

Women are still underrepresented in the global tech workforce, and thus there are few female role models that can inspire girls to take up a career in STEM fields. Rekha Pai Kamath, who set foot in Silicon Valley in 1993, is one such role model. She takes us through her journey in the tech industry.

We also speak with two young app developers who are the Malaysian semifinalists of the Technovation Challenge 2017, a global competition that helps girls learn skills to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. Ellysha and Adinda talk to us about the creation process of their CityZen app.
