Google’s Lunar X-Prize is a global competition in which private-sector players must land a robotic spacecraft on the Moon, have it travel 500 meters and transmit high-def video and images back to Earth, by the end of 2017. Why should this be of any interest to us, you ask? Because Malaysia is represented by Independence-X Aerospace Malaysia, and will be competing against the likes of India, the US and Israel; countries that are light years away in space technology. Independence-X's CEO Izmir Yamin, speaks to us about the journey so far.
