The European Union: 60 Years On

The European Union has just celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome - the one significant event back in 1957 that brought together 28 member states throughout Europe, with the aim of moving forward peacefully after having suffered two devastating wars. But that very premise of which the union was built on is now shaken with the Eurozone crisis, the refugee crisis and now the rise of populism as well. Is the EU on shaky ground? Or is this just something they'll weather through? We speak to H. E. Ambassador Maria Castillo Fernandez, Head of the Delegation of EU to Malaysia, to find out.
