Sin Tax for Health Programmes

A think tank has proposed for 5% of tobacco and alcohol taxes to be earmarked for efforts to address non-communicable diseases. The Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy said based on 2017 revenue figures, the 5% would amount to about RM290 million.
