If You’ve Been Scammed, Who Do You Call?

A senior police officer reportedly told FMT that it isn’t the police’s responsibility to help scam victims recover their money. This came after a person, having failed to get assistance from police authorities, tracked down his scammer and successfully got them to return money belonging to him and nine other victims. We discuss this, as well as how scams can be properly investigated.
