According to recent data shared during the 72nd Session of United Nations General Assembly, a child dies every five minutes as a result of violence. And globally, one billion children experience emotional, physical or sexual violence every year. It's unfathomable to think that in this day and age, humankind isn't doing enough to protect our kids. Why do we let them suffer abuse, sexual violence, labour exploitation? Why don't families instil love at home? We speak to the woman whose job it is to advocate the need for education and awareness when it comes to ending violence in early childhood.
