After the extraordinary rainfall which led to the floods in Penang and Kedah over the weekend, the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) has urged the Malaysian government to turn its focus onto climate change. We speak with Dr. Wong Wai Sam, Chairman of the Water Resources Technical Division at the IEM, about what needs to be done to better prepare us for climate change.
