An annual report by Reporters Without Borders (RBF) stated that almost three-quarters of the 180 countries surveyed were at least partially blocked. Malaysia was ranked the worst deterioration with the recent implementation of the anti-fake news law. We speak with Ding Jo-Ann to explore how this drop came to be and how we can recover from it.
