The Kuala Lumpur City Draft Plan 2020 was launched in May 2008, and initially slated to be gazetted in 2009. Hj Ihsan Zainal Mokhtar, President of the Malaysian Institute of Planners, as well as planning law expert Derek Fernandez, about what happens when development continues without a gazetted city plan.
