We often associate firemen with their big red trucks, saving cats from trees, and fighting fire of course. But the intensity of the situation in which they brave deadly flames to save lives is never fully realised until we're exposed to news footage of 9/11, or the recent Grenfell Tower tragedy in the UK or in recent local news of houses catching fire here in the Klang Valley. So, we thought we'd speak to our unsung heroes from the City Fire & Rescue Department here in Kuala Lumpur for insights into their lives as firemen.
