Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul announced in the Dewan Rakyat that 101 projects worth RM6.61b were awarded through direct negotiations under the former Pakatan Harapan government, prompting a series of accusations involving both sides of the political divide. We speak to Tricia Yeoh about the political impact of this disclosure, and the need for laws to regulate public procurements for better accountability.
