China recently suspended import of Taiwan's pineapples, citing harmful bugs on the fruit that will hurt China's agriculture and environment. Taiwan has dismissed the claims, and has found an ally in Japan who said they'll buy more pineapples from the country. We look at how diplomatic and political relations can affect trade.
