The Rise of Chief Digital Officer (CDO)

In the past few years, we’ve seen the rise of the Chief Digital Officer – or known as CDO as the one who helps an organization grow by converting traditional “analog” businesses into “digital” ones. A CDO is expected to oversee operations in the rapidly changing digital sectors like mobile, social media and others. While a number of leading companies like Aviva, Starbucks, McDonald’s, BBC Worldwide and so on have already made the move to engage with a CDO, analyst’s firms have more conflicting views on this trend.
