Gartner predicts that spending by enterprises in Malaysia is project to be RM40.6 billion in 2015 at an annual growth rate of 6.4 percent across data centers, software, IT services, internal services, devices and telecom services. And in recent years, Malaysia has also become a strong contender as a preferred data centre location in the region. Why? Due to ample land and access to renewable power from hydroelectric dam.
