According to Nikkei Asian Review, there are 900 tech startups in Malaysia where the government has been supporting them with numerous initiatives, from tax holiday for up to 10 years for qualifying startups to the numerous education/talent pools, initiated by various federations in the country. And to build a sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem, Malaysia launched MaGIC to further foster and develop a vibrant startup ecosystem in Malaysia and beyond.
