Over the past year, there have been several cases of high profile cyber attacks on multinational corporations as well as smaller enterprises. Unfortunately, most Malaysian SMEs underestimate their vulnerabilities to cyberattack and they view cyber risk insurance as an unnecessary expense. This perception of cyber risk is made even more worrisome as SMEs play integral role in Malaysian economy.
