Are You Ready To Charge?

In today’s electricity-dependent world, renewables are taking centre stage as nations grapple with balancing the increasing demand for electricity with the need to decarbonise the economy. With this shift, the deployment of batteries is also expected to grow. From niche applications such as grid balancing to everyday future tech like electric vehicles, energy storage will play an increasingly central role in transforming Asia’s relationship with power. We speak to Isabel Chong, Country Manager South East Asia at Eaton to talk about if we are ready for this and its implication on the current market.
