SMEs in Malaysia have evolved and grown over the last 10 years to be more savvy about responding to Global trends and competing effectively in a borderless market. Among the many critical emerging issues are how intangible assets such as Intellectual Property ie trade marks, patents, designs, and copyrights are playing a more important role compared to physical assets as the lever of growth.
