The Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA) was gazetted on 22nd June 2012 and introduces statutory adjudication, a form of dispute resolution, to resolve payment-related construction disputes and to facilitate cash flow within the construction industry. CIPAA is expected to have a huge impact on the construction industry and the Conference aims to discuss the issues that are expected to arise as well as share the experiences of other countries who have implemented statutory adjudication.
