The Original Boat Noodle, the pioneer of the Thai-styled boat noodle concept in Malaysia, set up operations in 2014. The homegrown brand currently has 21 outlets across the country. To date, the outlets have cumulatively sold more than four million bowls of noodles. We learn from the founder, Tony Lim and Head of Marketing, Pramesh Kumar on the strategies put in place to extend the brand’s “shelf life” by creating mature customers who are beyond the hype of bowl stacking.
