In addition to their desire to empower women, The Batik Boutique, a social enterprise, is passionate in making an impact in community in Kuala Lumpur. Recently, they contributed the deposit needed for Cempaka Education Center enabling poorer families free English classes for their children and Klink Kecheerian, a non profit organisation which opened in 2012 to provide good quality and affordable healthcare to the community. They also subsidised healthcare for the marginalized communities. We speak to the founder, Amy Cox Blair.
