In the video game Red Dead Redemption 2, a few players chose to enact violent acts against a virtual, non-playable suffragette character and to film and upload the game footage to YouTube - which YouTube has now chosen to take down. Is the removal of this video game footage necessary to prevent controversy and misogyny? Or is deleting footage of virtual violence a step too far?
