Asking people to attack your online infrastructure seems counterintuitive, but Microsoft says it’s the only way they’ll be able to make improvements to Azure, their flagship cloud solution. Worried that the service isn’t getting as many “attacks” as it should, Microsoft is now coming up with ways to incentivise hackers to do their worst.
