How Much Is Hygiene A Factor When Eating Street Food?

According to CEOWorld Magazine, the food fight is over. Singapore has been voted as the world’s best city for street food. Malaysia on the other hand, doesn’t even make the top 50. This particular list has been collated from interviews mainly of business travellers and corporate travel agents - and whilst we may not agree with the list here, it certainly leaves a sour taste in our mouth. Hygiene, it seems, is one of the four criteria that contribute to the rankings - and frankly, some of our outlets are not as hygienic as they should be, especially to tourists.
