Age vs Tenure - Which Has Bigger Impact on Company Performance?

Tenure and age are somewhat intertwined - we age; we accumulate experience. But being in a company for 40 years is different from being 50 and starting a new role at a new company. Is it being older? Or is being at a company for a longer period able to have more of a positive impact on company performance?
