One of the key targets of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is to eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres. Sumitra Visvanathan, executive director of the Women’s Aid Organization (WAO), discussed how well Malaysia is doing in the fight to eliminate domestic violence, protect survivors of violence, and achieve gender equality.
