Last month, Malaysia hosted the 10th East Asia Summit and the 27th ASEAN Summit, which saw 18 heads of government convene in Kuala Lumpur to discuss trade, the problem of radicalization, and territorial disputes in the South China Sea, among other issues. Elina Noor from the Institute of Strategic and International Studies gave us her take on these summits among other matters.
