It only takes a look around our own country, sometimes no further than our own communities, to see that there are far too many people falling ill who shouldn’t, and far too many whose health needs are not being provided for. As crises and conflicts deepen worldwide, there are concerns that the fundamental right to health will only be increasingly eroded. To strike a hopeful note for the year, we speak to Rajat Khosla, Director of the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH), for his reflections on the need to rethink and reimagine human rights in global health.
