Frailty in Older People

We tend to assume that it’s normal for people to become frail as they get older. However, being frail is actually a medical syndrome that increases your risk of poor health outcomes, including death. We learn more about the frailty syndrome from Prof Dr Shahrul Bahyah Binti Kamaruzzaman, Consultant Geriatrician from University Malaya Medical Center, and Assoc Prof Dr Noran Naqiah Hairi, Public Health Physician, Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, University of Malaya.
