Serena Williams won the Australian Open in 2017 while pregnant, but we’re no Serena Williams. Still, pregnant women are often misled to believe that they are more fragile than they really are. They are told not to do “laborious” tasks or risk causing complications to their pregnancy. What is considered risky? What’s safe and what’s not for pregnant women and postpartum mothers who are keeping fit or getting back in shape?
