Big Tech's Role in Asia's Changing Energy Landscape

As the tech industry looks ahead, attaining sustainability through net-zero carbon goals, and achieving a just energy transition will continue to weigh as a huge responsibility for all players. How can Big Tech companies like Microsoft contribute towards all of these goals, not just through their own reductions, but in terms of helping others through their learnings from data science, AI, and digital technology? We speak to Srikant Kadambi, the Managing Director for Energy & Sustainability at Microsoft Asia, about how Microsoft are forging new partnerships for new energy, and how digital technologies can make energy systems around the world more intelligent, efficient, and sustainable.

Srikant is one of the renowned speakers who will be at the inaugural Energy Asia, which will take place from 26 to 28 June 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
