The second half of 2017 has given us wonderful opportunities to traverse the social and cultural spectrum of the capital. To highlight that, we've put together hand-picked features from our varied catalogue of shows over the last six months. Earlier in July we were at the Wayang Kulit Tattoo Show to check out the burgeoning local ink scene and practising tattoo artists with their thoughts on the trade. For a taste of local music, we also spoke to a few homegrown indie artists about their music-making journeys. On the Merdeka-themed show, our resident historian Elizabeth Cardosa filled us in on lesser known facts about our iconic clock tower, with fascinating inputs from individuals responsible for keeping the clock ticking. To round things off, we had conversations with one of the founders of Rumah Attap Library & Collective, an oasis for book readers in the capital - an inspiration perhaps to put your intellectual hat on in 2018!
